Classical Mat Pilates w/ Sabrina

Breathe Space Pilates draws inspiration from the core principles of Pilates, which are deeply rooted in yoga, classical Joseph Pilates, and Stott Pilates. At times, students will find use of props to support and deepen their ROM. Other times, students will use body weight to build strength, stamina, and over time, a strong breathing practice. To simplify it, a hiit workout incorporates full-body, compound exercises, typically bodyweight exercises only, which are done in short, intense bursts, at nearly one hundred percent of your max effort, followed by short, sometimes active rest.

Restorative Yoga w/ Michele

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing practice that uses props to support your body and mind. It is a restful practice that encourages you to slow down and open your body through passive stretching. Restorative yoga, suitable for practitioners of all levels, is a restful practice that holds yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
